Blue Lake Milling

As Good As They Get

“I have been eating cooked oats for breakfast nearly every day of my life for 76 years, and I can say with some authority, having sprung from an oat eating family living on the Scottish Borders in the UK, that your oats are as good they get.

Well done and I do hope you can maintain the quality because your oats will be my first choice from now onwards.”

Please Don't Change Your Oats

I would just like to thank you for being the ONLY mill to produce organic oats that I can eat.

Most organic oats available in WA are biodynamic certified. ALL of the biodynamic oats I have tried over the last 10 years have caused me to have an allergic reaction, a burning sensation at the back of my throat, when I eat them.

Your organic certified oats DO NOT cause me this reaction and neither do conventionally produced oats. So however you're milling your oats, please don't change it!

Dimboola Food Festival

Blue Lake Milling were proud to be a part of the 2016 Dimboola Food Festival, an event showcasing the produce of the Wimmera region.

The Inaugural Dimboola Food Festival could not happen without the generous support and assistance of many businesses, community groups and individual volunteers. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all our partners. Their support, ranging from financial sponsorship through to in-kind, is critical to the festival's success, this year and in years to come.

Hangar Hoedown

The Nhill Town Committee would like to sincerely thank Blue Lake Milling for supporting the Hangar Hoedown drought relief event held on Saturday the 11th of June.

This event was made possible by funding received by the Hindmarsh Shire Council through the Victorian Government Drought Response Program.

The Nhill Town Committee was asked to plan an event that promoted health and wellbeing and social connectedness outcomes. The funding which we received supported the delivery of this free event to help foster community resilience and the wellbeing of the people in the drought affected communities within the Hindmarsh Shire.

We have received some very positive feedback about the Hangar Hoedown. People have expressed that they enjoyed the atmosphere of the hangar, the engagement with others in the community and the opportunity to enjoy some fantastic free entertainment.

Without your support this event would not have been possible.

In particular we would like to thank you for the donation of 500 sachets of Blue Lake Milling Muesli. We were able to put together drought packs which included products sourced locally, including your muesli. These packs were distributed on the night, as well as after the event, to locals in the Hindmarsh Shire.

SA Rural Women's Gathering

On behalf of the SA Rural Women's Gathering Bordertown Committee, we would like to thank you for your generous support for our recent event.

Those who attended commended us on the great participation from local companies such as yours.

The response from the women who attended the Gathering has been very positive and heart-warming and we are sure your sponsorship and products contributed to its outstanding success.

Photos that were taken over the weekend are currently displayed in the Gallery tab on our website:

It has been a pleasure to work with you and we wish you every success for your future endeavours.

Royal Adelaide Show Support

On behalf of the Grains & Fodder Committee of the RA&HS, I thank you for your contribution to the Golden Grains Pavilion in 2015.

As the featured regional business in Golden Grains your support with hulled oats for our interactive roller mills along with your give away promotion of rolled oat samples was very well received.

Your assistance in contributing to this year's display has allowed us to continue to develop the programme designed to educate and entertain the large number of Show goers that visit the Golden Grains Pavilion.

Together with the ever changing environment of Agriculture it is with your help we are able to highligh to the Public the valuable contribution that it makes to the economy of our State.

Our interative displays encourage families to take an interest in their own nutritional needs and the confidence in our industry to provide them with that nutrition.

Blue Lake Milling makes a significant contribution with processing Oats in "value adding" to promote the Paddock to Plate concept in Golden Grains.

Our Golden Grains display is the envy of other Royal Shows around the Nation and this year was no exception.

Thank you for your continued support.
